Kathryn "Ginger" Ward-Presson has enjoyed a career of more than 40 years in a variety of roles, including 20 years in Nurse Executive roles, across U.S. military, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), for-profit, not-for-profit, and international health care systems.
In 2012, Ward-Presson retired from her role as the Associate Director for Patient Care Services/Chief Nurse Executive of the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina.
She is currently a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student at the Duke University School of Nursing and is a Jonas Scholar in Veterans Healthcare.
